David has been providing companies with superior accounting, tax and valuation services for almost 40 years. He started his career in Ocala and quickly became a partner in a large local firm. David is an experienced and effective expert witness having testified throughout Florida on cases involving business valuation and business damages. He has continued to find innovative ways to deliver value add services and create long lasting trusting relationships. He believes in being accessible and creating a firm culture that continues to focus on quality and value.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Florida. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA).
David splits time between Ocala and Jacksonville, where his wife and two sons live. He enjoys spending time with his five grandkids and trying new restaurants. When not working, David enjoys working in his yard, playing golf and fishing.
Jay has been helping companies navigate business strategies and optimize their potential for over ten years. He started his career with PwC and KPMG before moving into the private sector where he managed the financial planning and analysis group for a large public financial services organization. He then spent over 2 years as the CFO for a healthcare company in Jacksonville, FL.
Jay holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Florida. He also earned his Master of Science in Accounting and M.B.A. from Northeastern University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).
Jay grew up in Ocala, FL and now resides in Jacksonville, FL with his wife and two daughters. He loves to spend time with his family and eat good food. As a native Floridian, Jay enjoys fishing, playing golf and being outdoors.
Rebecca has almost 20 years of public accounting experience specializing in both accounting and business valuations. She has performed numerous business valuations with a specialty in business damages as they relate to eminent domain takings. She is also an expert witness for business damage and business valuation cases. Her experience and knowledge allow her to provide strategies to clients on how to navigate both the business valuation process and business obstacles.
Rebecca is a Certified Valuation Analyst and is planning to gain her Certified Public Accountant designation soon.
Rebecca was born and raised in Ocala and her son is attending college in Minnesota. She is active in many non-for-profit organizations providing oversight and board of director duties. She is the treasurer of the Associate of Eminent Domain Professionals organization. When Rebecca isn’t at work or volunteering, she enjoys riding her motorcycle and running.
With 25 years of leadership experience, successfully guiding companies through mergers & acquisitions, strategic planning, start-ups, sales growth, management, and turn around services, Jim brings a diverse skill set to the H2 team.
Jim started his career in Washington, DC where he quickly became a director of a Federally Chartered Bank. Within a few years, Jim left the bank to launch his own company, which he grew into a national presence in the years to come. That company brought him and his family to Jacksonville, FL.
In Jim’s next venture, he started a consulting firm in the Jacksonville area focusing on small and medium sized businesses. Jim has grown that business around the globe and been involved in over 100 transactions in the US, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Ireland, Australia, Brazil, and the Netherlands.
He also started a golf equipment manufacturing company and a social media consulting company in the last few years that are growing as well. His most recent venture is joining H2 and leading up their M/A business.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing and Management from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. He has received multiple awards throughout his career including, 40 under 40, Fastest Growing Company, Best Places to Work, as well as various awards in the M&A industry in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2019.
Jim resides in Jacksonville, FL with his wife and three kids. He enjoys spending time as a family making memories, coaching their sports, and visiting his oldest son at UGA for his football games.
